Dynamics Model Construction and Characteristic Analysis of Heat Pipe Nuclear Reactor in Thermal State

Abstract In order to facilitate the power control method design of heat pipe nuclear reactor and avoid high complexity core modelling, paper adopts lumped parameter build thermal state dynamic model reactor. Firstly, equivalence structure transfer process “MegaPower” is carried out describe a single in hexagonal block. The complex simplified into two-zone with only fuel monolith. And equivalent resistance used conduction within gas gap pipe. Then, established using neutron dynamics equation point-reactor. Based on principle balance, models fuel, gap, monolith are respectively, so as form equations generation core. Finally, characteristics reactivity disturbance without external simulated analysed. results show that has certain self-stability disturbance, but stability time long, fluctuation large.
